Research Experience for Teachers (RET)


About the Program
The Biomimetic MicroElectronic Systems Engineering Research Center (BMES ERC) offers a summer program for teachers funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).  The program is held in Los Angeles, CA at the University of Southern California.  This program will support the active involvement of high school and community college teachers in biomedical engineering research conducted in BMES ERC laboratories.  In addition, teachers will be assisted in translating and integrating their biomedical engineering experience into classroom activities that will spark enthusiam for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in their students.
